Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking motivated Behavior Technicians to support children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will work one-on-one to implement behavior plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while supporting child and family.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay empowered in the role.
