Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism. In this role you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required because we provide comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age
• CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test required (within last year)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Assist in executing behavior plans and track progress under supervision.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support families.
