Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will work one-on-one to teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, while maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

We offer comprehensive training; the role requires patience, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Pay range is $17 - $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and legally eligible to work.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Comfortable standing, walking, sitting and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support implementing behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Ensure safety and supervision during interactions with clients.
• Follow supervisor directions and document progress as required.
