Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized behavior plans under supervision of a BCBA to teach communication, social and daily living skills with evidence-based methods.

We provide comprehensive training; the role requires patience and teamwork. You must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds per day.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required within 45 days of onboarding.
• High school diploma or GED completed.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist with safety and support during activities; stand, walk, bend, lift as needed.
