Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the guidance of a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing disruptive behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. You should be patient, compassionate, and capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed in a dynamic, active setting.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and track progress as part of therapy sessions.
