Job summary

Centria Autism in Turner, Oregon is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in a one-on-one setting. You will implement individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required.
Must be 18+ years old and able to pass a background check.
Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and move in various positions.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children under BCBA supervision.
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Help reduce interfering behaviors.
Assist with safe movement and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
