Job summary

Centria Autism in Oregon is seeking passionate Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the supervision of a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to build communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive training. Must be able to stand, walk, sit and lift up to 50 pounds, and pass background checks. Competitive pay range listed above.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test (within last year) optional
• Background check required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and ensure child safety.
• Collaborate with BCBA and the team to track progress.
