Job summary

ABA Support Services in Scranton, PA seeks a Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist to organize data collection and assist with behavioral assessments and program implementation. The role includes lead therapist duties during temporary absences and supporting staff and parents in training.

Qualified candidates will have experience with autism, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in clinical or school settings.

Qualifications

• Candidates with clinical/home/school experience providing direct services to children with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Willingness to learn early learning curriculum and behavioral principles to increase functional repertoires.
• Able to work with children across functioning levels and assist in home, school, and community settings.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior and maintain data systems.
• Assist lead therapist in maintaining up-to-date graphs and data summaries.
• Write progress notes, update programs, and prepare session materials.
• Participate in baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.
• Prepare and clean up session-related activities and materials.
• Support protocol dissemination, reviews, and staff/parent training.
