Job summary

ABA Support Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician/ Direct Therapist to organize data collection and support clinical activities for children with developmental disabilities. You will assist with assessments, staff and parent training, and cover lead therapist duties in their absence.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, collaboration with the team, and adherence to safety and behavioral protocols across home, school, and clinic environments.

Qualifications

• Must have experience providing behavioral services to children with developmental disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn early learning curriculum and apply behavioral principles in home, school and community settings.
• Proactive in staff and parent training and protocol implementation.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist with data graphs and summaries.
• Write progress notes and update programs and materials.
• Participate in baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.
• Prepare and tidy session-related activities and equipment.
• Deliver direct client care following behavioral protocols, one-on-one or in groups.
• Shadow or co-treat at least 2–4 hours weekly.
• Report parent concerns to the lead therapist; escalate as needed.
