Job summary

ABA Support Services in Bucks County, PA seeks a Behavioral Health Technician/Direct Therapist to organize data systems, assist with behavioral assessments, and support program implementation for children with Autism.

The role includes leading therapy duties in the lead therapist’s absence, data graphing, progress notes, and parent training across home, school, and community settings.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical/home/school experience providing direct services to children with Autism, training parents, and supervising staff in the implementation of intervention protocols
• Willing to learn about an early learning curriculum and the application of behavioral principles to increase a wide range of functional repertoires
• Exceptional interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Therapists should be willing to work with children who range from high functioning to low functioning ASD and be able to assist in the implementation of clinical programs in the home, school, and community environments
• Motivated, excellent work ethic, high quality work and able to work with minimal direction
• Able to work independently and as a team member in a dynamic, fast paced environment; flexible and patient

Responsibilities

• Collect and record data based on observable client behavior.
• Assist lead therapist in maintaining up to date graphs, summarizing and calculating data.
• Write progress notes, program updates, create session materials and stimuli, maintain program books.
• Actively participate in implementation of baseline, treatment, parent training, and generalization sessions.
• Assist lead therapist in the preparation and clean-up of session related activities.
• Assist with case related duties such as protocol dissemination, protocol reviews and staff/parent training.
• Utilize safe and appropriate handling, management and guidance procedures when transporting or working with clients.
• Provide direct client care following prescribed behavioral protocols/programs, one-on-one or in groups.
