Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. Training is provided to empower you to help each child reach potential. Patience, compassion, teamwork, and the ability to move with children up to 50 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Able to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test as required.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
