Job summary

Centrada Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while helping reduce challenging behaviors.

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and able to collaborate within a team. Training is provided, with a physical component to move and care for children up to 50

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress.
• Work closely with children who may be unpredictable and active.
