Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one sessions, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role requires patience and compassion, ability to work in a team, and willingness to train.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Pass background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in training.
