Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance.

You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, with training provided and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to work with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification and TB test may be required.
• Background check required prior to employment.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification obtained after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support BCBA guidance and report on progress and challenges.
• Provide safe, positive, and engaging learning experiences.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in ongoing training.
