Job summary

Achieve Beyond is hiring part-time, hourly Autism Aides to support pediatric ABA services across Suffolk County. You will provide direct ABA instruction under a BCBA plan, join collaborative case meetings, and communicate resources to families. Excellent data tracking and confidentiality are essential.

Must have 2+ years working with special needs children and be enrolled or have completed a relevant undergraduate/graduate program. ABA experience is preferred and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for working with children, families, and therapists.
• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in a supervised setting.
• Enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.
• Experience using ABA preferred.
• Completion of 20-hour classroom training with a competency exam after training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs and home/community resources.
• Collect daily data and organize the child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per state and federal regulations.
