Job summary

Achieve Beyond is hiring Part-time, hourly Behavior Therapists to provide direct ABA instruction across Brooklyn and surrounding areas. You will collaborate with BCBA and fellow therapists, communicating regularly with families and maintaining daily data for the child’s program book while ensuring confidentiality.

The role requires at least 2 years with special needs children (2–21) and completion or current enrollment in a relevant program.

Qualifications

• Must have passion for working with children, families and therapists.
• At least 2 years working with special needs children in a supervised setting.
• Successful completion of or current enrollment in a relevant undergraduate/graduate program.
• ABA experience preferred and completing training/competency exam after training.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other therapists on the case.
• Communicate with families, provide debriefs and resources for home/community use.
• Collect daily data and update the child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality per State and Federal regulations.
