Job summary

Achieve Beyond Pediatric Therapy & Autism Services is hiring part-time, hourly Autism Aides to support children in the Stamford area. You will provide direct ABA instruction, assist the BCBA on cases, and communicate with families to reinforce strategies at home and in the community.

This role emphasizes collaboration with BCBA and therapy teams, data collection, and maintaining confidentiality according to state and federal rules.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working with special needs children ages 2-21 in supervised setting.
• Experience using ABA preferred.
• Completion of 20-hour training provided by Achieve Beyond and passing competency exam.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Autism Aides/Behavior Therapists.
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs and home/community resources.
• Collect daily data and maintain child’s program book.
