Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Nassau County is hiring Part-time, Hourly Autism Aides to support children with developmental delays in home, community, and clinic settings. You will provide ABA instruction under the supervision of a BCBA and collaborate with a therapy team to implement individualized plans.

We seek compassionate individuals with a passion for helping children and families, able to communicate clearly with families and maintain data and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated, a team player, and patient with children and families.
• Experience with or enrollment in relevant field programs.
• Ability to follow educator plans and collaborate with BCBA/therapists.
• Strong communication with families and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan outlined by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Behavior Therapists on the case.
• Communicate frequently with family members by providing debriefs at the end of each session, as well as resources and strategies that can be implemented in the home and community to promote consistency.
• Collect daily data and organize child's program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families in accordance with State and Federal regulations.
