Job summary

Achieve Beyond in Queens, NY seeks part-time Autism Aides to provide direct ABA instruction under BCBA supervision in home, clinic, or community settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, communicate regularly with families, and collect daily data to inform the child’s program plan.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience with special needs children, or be enrolled in a relevant undergraduate/graduate program.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years working with special needs children in a supervised setting.
• Experience in ABA preferred.
• Successful completion of or enrollment in an undergraduate/graduate program in psychology, healthcare, human services, education, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct ABA instruction according to the educational plan by the BCBA.
• Participate in collaborative team meetings with BCBA and other Autism Aides.
• Communicate with families by providing debriefs and home/community resources.
• Collect daily data and organize the child’s program book weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per state and federal regulations.
