Job summary

24 Hour Home Care in El Segundo seeks a Supervis or, Client Operations (Authorizations Lifecycle) to oversee authorization intake accuracy for a team of coordinators and specialists, ensuring entries into Salesforce are precise and timely before billing.

The role requires 3+ years in authorization processing, 1+ year leadership, and a bachelor’s degree. This is a hybrid position with in-office presence up to 3x weekly, supporting quality audits and coaching for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in authorization processing, utilization management, or related healthcare operations.
• 1+ year of people leadership or team lead experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with authorization entry, verification, or auditing in a high-volume environment preferred.
• Experience with Regional Center funding, home care, healthcare services, managed care, or other payor-facing operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of authorization coordinators and specialists, assigning workloads, setting priorities, monitoring throughput, and ensuring established turnaround times and service levels are met.
• Oversee front-line quality control for authorization intake, reviewing entries for accuracy and resolving discrepancies involving hours, service codes, units, caps, and backdated authorizations.
• Conduct regular audits of manual and automated authorization entries, document findings, identify recurring error patterns, and drive appropriate corrections and coaching.
• Coach and develop team members through regular feedback, 1:1s, performance management, and onboarding, reinforcing the impact of authorization accuracy on billing and downstream processes.
• Maintain dashboards and trackers for authorization accuracy, turnaround time, missed entries, workload, and audit findings, escalating trends or risks requiring Sr. Manager intervention.
