Job summary

Picnic Delivery in Austin is seeking a Territory Restaurant Manager to own the Austin region supply base, sign partners, and ensure capacity, on-time prep, and proper packaging. You will visit facilities, taste food, and engage operators with hands-on ownership from day one.

You will also lead a Bogotá-based team across restaurant sales and onboarding, menu operations, and frontline support while setting standards, SLAs, and routing to improve the system behind the work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 managing a team.
• Background in restaurants, food delivery, marketplaces, hospitality, or supply-side operations.
• Experience owning a supply base or partner portfolio, spanning acquisition and ongoing performance.
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations: kitchen workflow, POS systems (Toast, Square, Clover), menu management, ticket flow.
• Comfortable with data: lateness reports, dashboards, and Google Sheets.
• Spanish is a plus given the Bogotá-based team.

Responsibilities

• Selection: decide sources (brick-and-mortar, standalone, CK operators) to ensure options at different price tiers.
• Restaurant performance: own capacity model, ensure on-time prep, and make pause/unpause calls.
• Menu quality: curate menus, photos, tags, and descriptions; ensure quality.
• The team: collaborate with Bogotá-based teams and define SLAs and routing.
• Food-Obsessed Market Expert: know the region’s brands and demand.
• Somehow-some-way mentality: sign partners even when faced with obstacles.
• Data-Literate Operator: translate reports into actionable plans.
• Builder and Team Leader: lead across time zones and treat failures as processes.
• Assertive Negotiator: balance commission structure with partner relations.
