Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Austin, TX is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to drive new business in the Austin market. The role focuses on building relationships with property managers, regional managers, and key decision-makers, prospecting, and managing a defined territory.

You will spend significant time in the field, conduct presentations, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of sales, business development, account management, or related experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
• Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable spending significant time in the field meeting with customers.
• Experience prospecting and generating new business opportunities.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling, and field-based outreach.
• Build and maintain relationships with property managers, regional managers, ownership groups, and key decision-makers.
• Manage and grow an existing customer base throughout the assigned territory.
• Conduct sales presentations, proposal meetings, and customer consultations.
• Develop territory growth strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
• Track sales activity, opportunities, and customer information within CRM systems.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and long-term client retention.
• Travel throughout the Austin market to support business development efforts.
