This role will architect, migrate, optimize, and operate MySQL workloads on Amazon Aurora and Amazon RDS, collaborating with customer engineers and business leaders to craft production systems for demanding workloads. You will influence feature development and roadmap by voicing customer needs, sharing best practices through blogs, architectures, and AWS events, and supporting a global AWS

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT development or implementation/consulting.
• Hands-on with Aurora MySQL or RDS for MySQL.
• Experience leading migrations to Aurora as technical owner.
• Experience with Aurora features such as distributed storage, cloning, Global Database, CloudWatch, and blue/green deployments.
• Experience architecting or operating MySQL at scale.

Responsibilities
