Job Description

Job Summary

Establish a compliance program designed to prevent and detect violations of applicable laws and regulations, protecting the Business from liability related to fraudulent or abusive practices. Ensure understanding and adherence to laws and regulations in the Healthcare environment. Oversee, follow up on, and resolve compliance investigations to ensure accountability.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Conduct ongoing compliance audits using state evaluation tools related to audit and monitoring activities.
• Define audit scope and criteria, review evidence, document findings, and recommend improvements and corrections.
• Advise departments on compliance risks concerning Federal and State regulations and contract provisions.
• Contribute to annual risk assessments and audit planning.
• Monitor and support the implementation of corrective actions required by regulatory agencies for contract deficiencies.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience

1-3 years.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.

Preferred Experience

3-5 years.
