Job Summary

Establish a compliance program designed to prevent and detect violations of applicable laws and regulations, protecting the Business from liability due to fraudulent or abusive practices. Ensure the Business understands and complies with laws and regulations related to healthcare. Oversee investigations, follow-up, and resolution to ensure accountability for compliance.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Perform ongoing compliance audits using state evaluation tools related to audit/monitoring activities.
• Define audit scope and criteria, review evidence, document findings, and recommend improvements.
• Advise departments on compliance risks concerning Federal and State regulations and contracts.
• Contribute to annual risk assessments and audit planning.
• Monitor corrective actions required by regulatory agencies for contract deficiencies.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Associate degree or equivalent experience.

Required Experience

1-3 years.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.

Preferred Experience

3-5 years.
