Job Description

Job Summary

Establish a compliance program designed to prevent and detect violations of applicable laws and regulations, protecting the business from liability related to fraudulent or abusive practices. Ensure the business understands and complies with healthcare laws and regulations. Oversee investigations, follow-up, and resolution to ensure accountability for compliance.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Perform ongoing compliance audits using relevant state evaluation tools related to audit and monitoring activities.
• Define audit scope and criteria, review evidence, document findings, and recommend improvements and corrections.
• Advise departments on compliance risks concerning federal and state regulations and contractual obligations.
• Contribute to annual risk assessments and audit planning processes.
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions mandated by regulatory agencies for contract deficiencies.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience

1-3 years in relevant roles.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.

Preferred Experience

3-5 years in compliance or healthcare roles.
