Job Summary

Establish a specifically designed compliance program that effectively prevents and/or detects violations of applicable laws and regulations, protecting the Business from liability related to fraudulent or abusive practices. Ensure that the Business understands and complies with relevant laws and regulations in the healthcare environment. Oversee, follow-up, and resolve investigations to ensure accountability for compliance.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Perform ongoing compliance audits using state evaluation tools related to audit and monitoring activities.
• Identify and define audit scope and criteria, review and analyze evidence, document audit findings, and recommend improvements and corrections.
• Provide comprehensive advice to the assigned department regarding compliance risks concerning Federal and State regulations and contract provisions.
• Contribute significantly to the annual risk assessment and audit planning processes.
• Assist with monitoring activities to ensure the effective implementation of corrective actions imposed by regulatory agencies for contract deficiencies.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience

1-3 years.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.

Preferred Experience

3-5 years.
