Daily Tasks

• Assists with the review of management and statistical data systems to ascertain reliability and usefulness; With detailed guidance, prepares work papers, ensures documentation in accordance with OIG policies, procedures and professional audit standards as established by GAO’s Yellow Book; Works effectively as a team member to make valuable contributions to the success of the team.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting/Auditing or a related field.

Work Experience

• Zero to two (0‑2) years of accounting/auditing experience.
• Experience with: Microsoft Office 365 – Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Communication Tool: Slack or Teams.

Hours and Overtime

Standard hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one (1) hour unpaid lunch break. However, the COTR may request temporary services for periods in excess of a seven and one half (7.5) hour day or a thirty‑seven and one‑half (37.5) hour week. Temporary personnel working six (6) hours or more are required to take a one‑half hour unpaid lunch break. Overtime: Hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in one week is considered as overtime work; all overtime must be approved by the COTR in advance.
