Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (advanced degree is a plus)
• CPA license strongly preferred
• 5-8 years of experience in public accounting
• Exhibit expert understanding of GAAP and U.S. auditing standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and staff performance
• Ability to develop client relationships and pursue new opportunities

Responsibilities

• Assume primary responsibility for client engagements including planning, staffing, timing and technical issues.
• Oversee completion of engagements and resolve problem areas with minimal oversight.
• Supervise and mentor Supervisors, Senior Accountants and Staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist Principals and Partners with pursuing new clients and opportunities.
• Grow client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness and service.
• Promote the firm’s image and participate in firm-wide initiatives.
