Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Intern to support multiple client engagements while applying accounting knowledge using firm technology. You will shadow audit professionals and participate in team-building, training, and research projects.

The role also includes presenting on a marketing or research project and participating in social functions and community activities. Travel to client sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• As an Audit Intern, you will work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
