Job summary

Cherry Bekaert invites you to join as an Audit Intern to gain hands-on exposure to the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career. You will work for multiple supervisors on various client engagements and apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology.

You will shadow Audit professionals and participate in team-building and training initiatives, as well as present on a marketing or research project and attend social functions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
• Participate in team building and training initiatives
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
