Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP invites students to join as an Audit Intern to gain insight into the public accounting profession and to build a solid foundation for a career. You will work for multiple supervisors on diverse client engagements and apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology while shadowing Audit professionals of all levels.

You will participate in team-building, training initiatives, and present on a marketing or research project.

Qualifications

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career.
• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.

• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
