Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Intern to gain hands-on experience in public accounting. You will work with multiple supervisors on diverse client engagements, applying accounting knowledge using firm technology and shadowing professionals.

You will participate in team training, present on marketing or research projects, and attend social/volunteer events while building a solid foundation for your career.

Qualifications

• Enrolled juniors or seniors in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
