Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking an Audit Intern to support multiple client engagements under the supervision of experienced auditors. You will apply accounting knowledge, use firm technology, and shadow professionals across levels while building your professional toolkit.

Eligible juniors or seniors from accredited programs, with strong computing skills and a willingness to travel, will contribute to team initiatives, research projects, and client service.

Qualifications

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting program, two years from graduation.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology
• Shadow Audit professionals of all levels
• Participate in team building and training initiatives
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings
