Qualifikationen

• Approximately 10 years' experience in public accounting and at least 2 years in a senior manager role, with significant public sector exposure.
• Experience auditing state and local governments (cities, counties, districts, schools).
• Current and valid CPA license required.
• Ability to travel to client and firm locations.
• Experience conducting audits under GAGAS/Yellow Book, GAAS, and Uniform Guidance.

Aufgaben

• Maintain ongoing contact with clients and oversee multiple engagements and staff.
• Direct reporting to engagement partner or acting as engagement partner on engagements.
• Sign attest opinions when assigned and ensure compliance with firm policy.
• Oversee engagement planning and scheduling, ensuring timely client deliverables.
• Mentor staff, review work papers, and participate in performance evaluations.
• Play a lead role in business development and new client introductions.
• Lead client communications for prospective engagements and fee discussions.
• Ensure compliance with firm-wide policies and procedures.
