Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Audit Director in Denver to lead public sector engagements, maintain client relationships, and ensure quality in accordance with GAAS, Yellow Book, and Uniform Guidance. The role requires 10 years in public accounting and CPA licensure, with travel to client sites and offices.

You'll mentor staff, drive business development, and potentially lead or support as engagement partner on complex audits for governmental entities.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years' experience in public accounting and 2+ years in a senior manager role.
• CPA license is required; travel to client and office locations is expected.
• Experience auditing government entities with GAAS/Yellow Book and Uniform Guidance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintains client relationships and understands client operations and controls.
• Reports to, or acts as, engagement partner on engagements in line with firm policy.
• Signs attest opinions as a representative of the firm when assigned.
• Oversees engagements to ensure compliance with accounting framework and policy.
• Leads staff training, performance reviews, and recruitment as needed.
• Represents the firm in business development and creates client opportunities.
