Job summary

Riverside Medical Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Services Representative to support the Audiology department and general front desk operations. You will verify patient information, collect payments, schedule appointments, and provide courteous, patient-centered service.

This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and cross-training to ensure coverage across departments. Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with opportunities for professional development within Riverside Medical Clinic.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Typing, clerical and telephone skills required.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred; 1 year medical office exp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care services representative coverage as needed.
• Verify patient information and insurance details.
• Collect co-payments and issue receipts; balance daily payments.
• Cross-train with other staff to ensure coverage.
• Schedule patients and manage calendars per guidelines.
• Prepare charts and maintain patient records.
• Handle messages and route to appropriate staff.
• Maintain office equipment and filing.
