Job summary

CHOC Children's is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to assist the Audiologist with testing and interpretation and to help patients navigate their hearing care journey. You will orient patients on hearing aid use, provide servicing and basic troubleshooting, and ensure a welcoming first impression in our center.

Weekend and holiday shifts are a requirement. The role requires at least two years of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of medical terminology;

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in customer service, clerical or front office.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• English communication in person, writing and by phone.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Audiologist with testing and interpretation.
• Guide patients through their hearing loss treatment journey.
• Provide orientation on hearing aid use and basic troubleshooting.
• Deliver friendly, professional patient experiences.
