Job summary

CHOC Audiology is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to assist with testing and interpretation, and to ensure patients receive a positive, welcoming experience at our Orange, CA center. You will guide patients through their hearing loss treatment journey, including hearing aid orientation, servicing, and basic troubleshooting.

Weekends and Holidays are required. Must have at least 2 years of customer service, a High School diploma or GED, and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of customer service, clerical or front office experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with hearing aid testing and interpretation and work with Audiologist.
• Provide orientation on the use of hearing aids, servicing, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure patients have a positive first impression and smooth treatment journey.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Coordinator assists the Audiologist with testing and interpretation. They also work closely with the patients to ensure their first impression at our center exceeds expectations. They are responsible for assisting patients through their hearing loss treatment journey, including providing orientation on the use of a hearing aids, servicing, and basic troubleshooting of hearing aids.

Weekends and Holidays are a requirement.

Pay Range

Minimum $23.00 Midpoint $27.94 Maximum $32.88

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

• Required: Minimum two (2) years of customer service, clerical or front office experience.
• Preferred: Patient care coordination experience.

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: College Level Courses or Certifications in healthcare.

Training

• Required: None required.

• Required: Knowledge of medical terminology. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
