Job summary

CHOC in Orange, CA is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to assist the Audiologist with testing and interpretation, and to guide patients through their hearing loss treatment journey. You will help ensure a positive first impression and orient patients to hearing aid usage.

Required: High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of customer service or front office experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Coordinator assists the Audiologist with testing and interpretation. They also work closely with the patients to ensure their first impression at our center exceeds expectations. They are responsible for assisting patients through their hearing loss treatment journey, including providing orientation on the use of a hearing aids, servicing, and basic troubleshooting of hearing aids. ***Holidays and Weekends are required.

Pay Range Minimum $23.00 Midpoint $27.94 Maximum $32.88 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience

• Required: Minimum two (2) years of customer service, clerical or front office experience.
• Preferred: Patient care coordination experience.

Education

• Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: College Level Courses or Certifications in healthcare.

Training

• Required: None required.
