DESCRIPTION:

  • We are seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Engineer to manage and scale our AV infrastructure, collaborative spaces, and user experience. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of all day-to-day AV services and infrastructure projects across our offices.
  • The Audio-Visual team within Client Services is responsible for all conferencing technology, digital signage, and AV system reliability. As an Audio-Visual Engineer, you will focus on the deployment, ongoing management, and scaling of collaborative spaces, and will evaluate and integrate new AV technologies.
  • This role requires technical expertise in systems design and network troubleshooting, attention to detail, strong project management, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Design AV standards, deploy and maintain AV infrastructure, including conference rooms utilizing Neat hardware as well as systems in training spaces utilizing Dante, Q-SYS, Crestron NVX, and AV-over-IP standards.
  • Lead and contribute to AV-related projects, including new office buildouts, technology refreshes, and the development of AV service roadmaps and future standards.
  • Manage and admin the company's Zoom platform, including user and rooms provisioning and troubleshooting, feature deployment, security compliance, and licensing.
  • Provide advanced support and continuous maintenance for all conference and collaborative space technology, including Zoom Rooms, Mac Minis, and room controllers, and perform troubleshooting for meeting and room issues.
  • Create and maintain an accurate inventory of all AV devices across all offices, and develop hardware refresh plans based on lifecycle, performance, and operational needs. Utilize remote management platforms (e.g., Neat Pulse, Logitech Sync) for device health monitoring, firmware updates, and inventory management across the AV fleet.
  • Proactively monitor, manage, and troubleshoot installed AV systems to ensure high reliability and minimal downtime for all users.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, systems diagrams, and user-facing guides for all AV services.
  • Provide professional and discreet "white-glove" support for executive meeting spaces and essential daily AV needs.
  • As needed, act as a technical resource for key internal communications broadcasts, company-wide meetings, and executive offsites, focusing on system reliability, operational workflows, and setup/configuration of Zoom Events.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a professional audiovisual role.
  • 3+ years of experience in AV infrastructure design, deployment, or project management.
  • Expertise in the administration of the Zoom platform, including Zoom Meetings, Zoom Rooms, and Zoom Events.

  • Expertise in managing and troubleshooting networked AV systems (e.g., Neat, Dante, Q-SYS, Crestron NVX).
  • Experience with remote AV device management platforms such as Neat Pulse or Logitech Sync.
  • Working knowledge and experience administering the Google Workspace (G-Suite) Admin console.
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and AV-over-IP troubleshooting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
