Job summary

AVMedia, Inc. seeks a dedicated AV technician to set up, operate, and strike audio-visual equipment for daily operations and events. You will provide excellent face-to-face service to customers and hoteliers while ensuring safety and professional conduct.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with MAC and Windows, basic networking, and can travel to various venues. Availability is Monday–Sunday, with day and night shifts. Must be able to lift 25 lbs and spend long hours on your feet.

Qualifications

• Experience with AV setup, operation, and strike.
• Comfort with both customer-facing roles and hands-on equipment.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and stand for 8 hours.
• Willingness to travel to other venues.
• Knowledge of MAC and Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Setting and striking equipment in a swift, detail oriented, and safe manner.
• Speaking with customers and hoteliers in a positive, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.
• Documenting activities on a daily basis based on hotel or event site protocol.
• Seeking out ways to improve the operation to include service and financial results.
• Maintaining and protecting all assets at all times from damage, misuse or possible theft.
• Build upon the AVmedia Culture, Core Values and Core Purpose by being a role model at all times.
• Forge excellent relationships with Family members and key customers whenever possible.
