Job summary

Rentex is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Canton, MA. This full-time role involves working primarily in the Quality Control department of a warehouse, with potential temporary reassignment to other branches.

Ideal candidates have experience with AV equipment and computers, and can manage inventory software to forecast workload. Responsibilities include QC on returned equipment, keeping gear presentable, diagnosing and repairing items, and maintaining safety and organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with professional audio visual equipment and computer equipment.
• Basic understanding of inventory software for forecasting workload.
• Strong technical skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Quality Control (QC) procedures on returning equipment.
• Ensure all cases and equipment are presentable and in ideal working condition.
• Diagnose, log, and repair damaged items.
• Organize and store all tested equipment.
• Correctly process missing or damaged equipment.
• Be able to handle hard deadlines and plan workflow depending on client needs.
• Provide exceptional customer support for clients.
• Follow direction of the department leader and managers.
• Assist other departments when necessary.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
