Job summary

Cox Automotive seeks an entry-level Vehicle Intake Associate in Elkridge, MD. You will enter accurate vehicle information into the AS400 system, affix barcodes, and route vehicles to the proper drop zones. You will also document damages, take photos, and ensure correct sale identifiers at check-in.

Role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 15 pounds. Some overtime may be required. Benefits include paid time off and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Typically less than 2 years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Enter accurate vehicle details into the AS400 system or relay data to a coworker.
• Affix barcode/stock number sticker on each vehicle.
• Place work order numbers and routing labels on vehicles.
• Flag vehicles with no keys and direct transporters to drop zones.
• Take digital photos of vehicles at receipt.
• Identify sale vehicles with proper windshield codes.
• Uphold safety procedures and participate in safety activities.
• Assist on sale days and other duties as assigned.
• May work overtime as needed.
