Job summary

CarMax, at the Conroe Auction Center, is seeking an Auction Services Associate to maintain inventory zones, prepare vehicles, receive and scan stock, and support auction operations. You will ensure accurate records, safeguard assets, and deliver top-notch service to internal and external customers at a fast-paced site.

Key responsibilities include data entry, daily reconciliation, and teamwork across departments, with training provided to uphold CarMax standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, interpret, and enter data accurately.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily inventory appearance and security for organized zones and parking areas.
• Document and track incoming/outgoing inventory through shipping and receiving processes.
• Receive, prepare, and process vehicles, including locating, photographing, and securing keys.
• Support auction operations through coordination and execution activities.
• Contribute to new associate training by sharing best practices and safety standards.
• Perform daily inventory scanning and reconciliation for real-time visibility.
