Job summary

CarMax in Conroe, TX is seeking an Auction Services Associate to maintain vehicle zones, prepare and process incoming vehicles, and ensure secure, organized inventory for sale or auction. You will support shipping/receiving, capture photos, and manage keys to keep vehicles ready for sale.

This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and safe, efficient operations. You will operate in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 50 lbs, and flexing shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and enter data accurately to maintain inventory records.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work flexible hours including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily inventory appearance and security.
• Document and track incoming and outgoing inventory via shipping/receiving processes.
• Receive, prepare, and process vehicles, including locating, photos, and keys.
• Assist with auction preparation, coordination, and execution activities.
• Contribute to new associate training and safety standards.
• Perform daily inventory scanning and reconciliation for real-time visibility.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
