ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is seeking a motivated team member to support dealer consignments and commercial accounts at our Hutchins, TX location. You will perform pre-sale quality checks, coordinate reconditioning, and assist with inventory movement to ensure auction readiness.

This role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced auction environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.
• Automotive or auction experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Customer Liaison: act as a liaison between auction operations and customers while performing pre-sale quality checks.
• Reconditioning Oversight: manage vehicle preparation and oversee reconditioning services.
• Repair Coordination: review and write repair orders and coordinate repairs with shops.
• Inventory Management: assist with locating, numbering, and moving vehicles to designated areas.
• Tracking & Accuracy: track missing units and assist in locating vehicles for customers.
• Lot Organization: apply numbering, tagging, and stickers to vehicles and prepare for sale.
• Sale Day Execution: coordinate sale lane activities for efficient, customer-focused auctions.
• Diagnostics: perform basic vehicle diagnostics to decide if moved to Mechanic Shop.
• Quality Control: walk vehicles with customer reps for final quality check.
• Operational Support: use devices to scan inventory, record movement, and take vehicle photos.
