Job summary

The Cube Chicago is seeking an Attractions Assistant Manager to support the Attractions Manager in delivering a safe, smooth and high‑quality entertainment operation. You will lead the attractions team with a hands‑on approach to staff management and guest experience.

You will oversee 80+ hosts across 21 CUBEs, coordinate with Group Bookings and F&B for events, organize shifts, learn all games, and ensure a clean, presentable service area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of customer service experience required.
• Experience in presenting or performing roles.
• Experience in a competitive socialising or games venue.
• Experience working in high-volume venues.
• Experience leading large teams as well as working independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead department, ensuring staff provide game show host-style performance for every customer.
• Supervise the department on shift.
• Coordinate with Group Bookings Coordinator and F&B teams for events and party packages.
• Handle staff and operational issues, escalating as required.
• Rotate staff and organise shifts.
• Learn and familiarise with all games, including set up and rules.
• Maintain a clean and presentable service area at all times.
• Assist in setting up the venue before opening.
• If needed, assume the role of Cube host to help.
• Assist in HR or performance-related issues.
• Deputise in the absence of Attractions Manager.

Role Description

Supporting the Attractions Manager to oversee the safe, smooth and effective delivery of the attractions operation, with a hands on approach to managing the staff.

Leading the attractions team you are responsible for the delivery of a high class entertainment operation. Supervising a team of 80+ hosts, working across 21 CUBEs, ensuring the best customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Leading the department, ensuring attractions team members are providing a suitable performance of ‘Game show host’ for every customer.
• Supervising the department on shift.
• Liaising with Group Bookings Coordinator and F&B teams for events and party packages.
• Dealing with staff and operational issues locally or escalating as required.
• Rotating staff as required.
• Organising shifts and schedules for staff.
• Learn and familiarise yourself with all games, including set up and rules.
• Maintain a clean and presentable service area at all times.
• Assist in setting up the venue before opening.
• When required to, assuming the role of CUBE host to help.
• Assisting in HR or performance-based issues.
• Deputise in the absence of Attractions Manager.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all training is completed and documented.
• Proactively contribute to and suggest ways of improving company processes and procedures.
• Implement new process and procedures as directed by senior team.
• Assisting in the onboarding and upskilling of newer members of the team.
