Job summary

THE CUBE Chicago is seeking Front of House Servers to join our restaurant inside the venue on the Magnificent Mile. You will deliver high-class service, seat guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks in a fast-paced, entertainment-driven environment.

You should have at least 2 years in restaurant service, experience in high-volume settings, and comfort working in large teams or independently. Experience at large events is a plus. The role requires evenings and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Providing top quality restaurant service to compliment the customer experience.
• Taking orders and serving food with enthusiasm, engaging with customers.
• Taking orders for drinks and collecting from the dispense bar when ready to serve.
• Monitor and rotate stock to reduce wastage.
• Maintain a clean and presentable service area at all times, clearing tables of empty glasses, wiping down menus and table surfaces.
• Assist in setting up, laying cutlery and menus.
• Helping to close the restaurant and bar, deep cleaning the service areas.

Role Description

Working in the Front of House team you are responsible for the delivery of a high-class restaurant operation. You will work in our restaurant inside the venue, serving seated meals to guests, and sliders and sharing plates to parties and group bookings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Providing top quality restaurant service to compliment the customer experience.
• Taking orders and serving food with enthusiasm, engaging with customers.
• Taking orders for drinks and collecting from the dispense bar when ready to serve.
• Monitor and rotate stock to reduce wastage.
• Maintain a clean and presentable service area at all times, clearing tables of empty glasses, wiping down menus and table surfaces.
