Overview
Under the direction of the Manager and Shift Manager, the incumbent maintains clean and attractive public and employee areas within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Deep clean, sanitize, and maintain attractive front and back of house spaces.
- In observation of safety requirements, service assigned areas using provided chemicals and equipment according to established procedures.
- Perform other duties associated with public area housekeeping as assigned.
- Operate and keep clean equipment used for sweeping, vacuuming, brushing, polishing, and more.
- Follow internal procedures for signing in and out equipment, radios, and master keys.
- Provide excellent customer service for our internal and external guests.
- Take responsibility for the cleanliness of public spaces.
- Recognize and respond to spills or other calls which require immediate attention.
- Use wet floor signs to ensure guest and employee safety around wet areas, spills, or other cleaning.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate managers of concerns and observations.
- Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values.
- Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee Registration license through the NJ DGE.
